Liars

Everyone tells lies. Anyone who says that they don’t lie is a liar! Little “white lies” that don’t harm anyone are sometimes necessary in life, unfortunate as that may be. These kinds of lies are most often used for such purposes as protecting our privacy from strangers and such, for example. It’s the serious lies I can’t abide! The lies that people who claim to be friends tell for no apparent reason. Lies that break trusts… lies that kill friendships and relationships. These lies are always hurtful no matter how big or small the lie is!
Lies that have no purpose are just about the worse. You figure if the person is going to lie about such minial things, that boy howdy, imagine how bad the lies are about the big things in life. My definition of friendship doesn’t include lies, nor does my definition of a relationship, be it a business realtionship, a romantic relationship, or a family relationship. If I ask a question it is because I am prepared to hear the truth! Being a logical person I can’t see the point of telling lies about the most mundane, daily activities. If a person lies about that, then it’s safe to say that they’re more likely to lie about important stuff.
I could drone on about this subject… and don’t get me started on hypocrites (lol) - that’ll be for another blog entry some day… in the meantime.. that’s my thoughts on the act of telling lies. I’m too old to put up with people who lie!

It was more like the straw that broke the camel’s back. Someone that’s been given many chances, but as the saying goes: Once a liar always a liar. Seems the adage is quite true.
